Recap: Advocacy Days on the Hill

Mar 27, 2025

We engage in advocacy work to help unlock our mission of helping our clients lead stable, fulfilling lives in their chosen community, and this spring we had the opportunity to champion policy changes and investments at the state capitol during two advocacy days.

On February 19th, members of our staff and community joined together for Mental Health Day on the Hill. Even with the very cold weather, it was an exciting day of advocacy. We began at the National Guard Armory in St. Paul for a policy briefing, then headed out for a rally in the capitol rotunda to help ensure mental health care is at the top of our legislators’ priorities. We’re grateful to our friends at NAMI Minnesota for leading the effort and partnering on this vital cause!

The following month, we gathered on March 12th for Homeless Day on the Hill. We kicked off at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Paul for a policy briefing and followed up with an opportunity to meet with legislators. A special thank you to our friends and partners at Homes for All MN and Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless for spearheading this effort.

A big thank you to all of our supporters for showing up this legislative session and advocating for our neighbors. We continue to have so much gratitude for our community!
