Regain Balance and Strength
in a Safe, Nurturing Environment
Guild offers short-term Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) and Crisis Stabilization Services for those with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders who are currently experiencing a crisis or emergency situation. Each site provides safe, welcoming environments with a qualified staff to provide 24/7 support. Designed with trauma-informed principles, our spaces and programs help individuals regain stability, address immediate challenges, and determine next steps. The goal is to prevent hospitalization and help individuals identify the tools to support healing in the community.
Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS)
We offer Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) for adults in Dakota and Scott Counties. Our facilities provide up to 90 days of structured, 24/7 care focused on helping individuals achieve psychiatric stability, emotional adjustment, self‑sufficiency, and the skills needed to transition to a more independent setting. Services are provided by qualified mental health staff onsite 24 hours a day, and are time-limited with a specific target date for discharge and specific member outcomes. The goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that reduces the need for hospitalization.
Crisis Stabilization
This residential program offers immediate, short-term support (typically 1–10 days) for adults experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The primary aim is to safely stabilize the individual outside of a hospital environment, allowing them to maintain community connections and prevent further destabilization. We achieve a 95% stabilization success rate without hospital transfer.
Scott County Recovery Center
Our Crisis & Recovery Center in Scott County was the first residential mental health facility in the Southwest metro. This 16-bed facility provides life-saving IRTS and Crisis Stabilization Services in a safe space with person-centered, trauma-informed design. We empower individuals to heal close to their community, supporting dignified recovery.
Dakota County Recovery Center
Our Crisis & Recovery Center in Dakota County is a 16-bed facility designed with trauma-informed principles to promote healing. This center, located in West Saint Paul, offers vital, short-term treatment: IRTS and Crisis Residential Services. Here, clients can regain stability in a safe, home-like environment close to their community.
The facility is also home to Dakota County’s “a place to go” program, a 24/7 destination for crisis assessment, stabilization, overall mental health assessment, and access to support services.
“I’m lucky to be where I am today — and I couldn’t have done it without Guild.”
